Name a better way than to spend your free time between project briefs and waiting for client feedback than playing ping pong and sweating through your work clothes. Oh, you can't? Me neither.
What started out as a ping pong tournament to boost morale in the office became so much more.... namely a table tennis tournament that boosted morale in the office (a very important distinction). I spearheaded the logo, branding, and designed an abundance of posters, flyers, ping pong balls, t-shirts, stickers, and promotional stunts like a giant blow-up ball-oon, fake magazines featuring real players and divulging office scandals, and a collection of 444 tradings cards (where only 1 features last year's tournament champion, icon, friend, and recently departed coworker: Paul Crawford).
Outreach, recruitment, organization, and party planning was coordinated by myself and a couple of colleagues. We invited our fellow workers, bosses, friends, family, and cat to attend the event, play, and enjoy the festivities.
It was a stupendous success.
